About The Corner Room
We're a boutique hair salon located in Hamilton, Ontario in the Crown Point neighbourhood near King & Ottawa St.
The Corner Room opened in 2017 with the goal of bringing premium hairstyling and care at an affordable cost in a warm, welcoming environment. In our first year we won Platinum in the Reader’s Choice award as the best salon in Hamilton. We offer professional hair colouring, styling and cutting services with sought after stylists who take the time to understand and deliver exactly what each guest wants.
Carbon Neutral Positive
We’re a carbon neutral, Green Circle certified salon. That means all hair clippings, masks, gloves, leftover colour and every scrap of paper, plastic and foil is recycled or repurposed to keep more than one tonne of waste out of our landfills each year.

According to the Dress Code Project and Pantene, 93% of LGBTQ2S+ clients have been misgendered at past hair appointments. 65% feel that their hair is an important part of how they chose to express themselves and 58% experienced stigma & judgement by others towards their overall appearance.
